Türkbükü Villa, bulunduğu arazinin topografik özelliklerini tasarımın ana belirleyicisi olarak ele alan, konut ölçeğinde kurgulanmış bir yerleşim projesidir. Proje, doğal eğimi bastırmak yerine onunla birlikte çalışmayı hedefleyerek, yapıları araziye oturtan ve manzara ile kurulan ilişkiyi güçlendiren bir yerleşim stratejisi benimser. Arazinin eğimi, üç ayrı yapının birbirinin manzarasını kesmeden konumlanmasına olanak tanıyacak şekilde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu kademeli yerleşim sayesinde her bir konut, deniz manzarasına doğrudan ve kesintisiz erişim sağlarken, aynı zamanda mahremiyetini koruyan bir mekânsal organizasyona kavuşur. Yapıların konumlanışı hem yatayda hem düşeyde topografyanın sunduğu potansiyeli okuyarak şekillenir. Mimari dil, yalın ve ölçülü bir ifade üzerine kuruludur. Kütleler, araziyle uyumlu şekilde yerleştirilmiş; açıklıklar, teraslar ve dış mekânlar manzara yönünde genişleyerek iç mekânlarla güçlü görsel bağlar kurar. Bu yaklaşım, yapay müdahaleleri minimumda tutarken, cephelerde ve teras duvarlarında kullanılan yerel taş malzeme ile yapının çevreyle kurduğu bağ güçlendirilmiş; teras ve balkon üstlerinde yer alan saçaklarda kargıdan üretilen elemanlar kullanılarak bölgeye özgü yapım teknikleri mimari dile dahil edilmiştir. Türkbükü Villa, topografyayı bir kısıt değil, mekânsal kalite üreten bir tasarım girdisi olarak ele alan; üç konutu da eşit ölçüde manzara, ışık ve mahremiyetle buluşturan, yerel malzeme ve teknikleri çağdaş bir yorumla bir araya getiren duyarlı bir konut yerleşimi önerisidir.
Türkbükü Villa is a residential development conceived at a domestic scale, where the site’s topographic characteristics serve as the primary determinant of the design. Rather than suppressing the natural slope, the project adopts a settlement strategy that works with the terrain, anchoring the buildings to the land and strengthening their relationship with the surrounding landscape. The site’s inclination is utilized to position three separate structures in a way that prevents them from obstructing one another’s views. Through this terraced arrangement, each residence enjoys direct and uninterrupted access to sea views while maintaining a spatial organization that ensures privacy. The placement of the buildings is shaped by a careful reading of the site’s potential, both horizontally and vertically. The architectural language is defined by restraint and clarity. Volumes are positioned in harmony with the terrain, while openings, terraces, and outdoor spaces expand toward the view, establishing strong visual connections with the interiors. This approach minimizes artificial interventions and reinforces the building’s relationship with its context through the use of local stone on façades and terrace walls. In addition, canopies made from kargı reed are used above terraces and balconies, integrating region-specific construction techniques into the architectural expression. Türkbükü Villa presents a sensitive residential settlement that treats topography not as a constraint but as a design input capable of generating spatial quality, bringing all three residences into equal dialogue with views, light, and privacy, while combining local materials and techniques with a contemporary architectural interpretation.
