Esenyurt Otel projesi, mevcutta ofis yapısı olarak tasarlanmış bir yapının, yeni kullanım senaryoları doğrultusunda yeniden ele alınarak otele dönüştürüldüğü bir renovasyon projesidir. Tasarım yaklaşımı, yapının mevcut strüktürel ve mekânsal potansiyelini koruyarak, onu çağdaş konaklama ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilecek yeni bir mimari düzene adapte etmeyi hedefler. Dönüşüm sürecinde, yapının cephe organizasyonu yeniden değerlendirilmiş; mevcut kütlenin daha sade, kontrollü ve güncel bir mimari dil kazanması amaçlanmıştır. Cephede yapılan müdahaleler, yapının ofis ölçeğinden konaklama yapısına geçişini desteklerken, açıklık oranları, ritim ve malzeme kararlarıyla daha bütüncül bir ifade oluşturulmuştur. İç mekân organizasyonu ise otel kullanımının gerektirdiği dolaşım, mahremiyet ve kullanıcı konforu kriterleri doğrultusunda yeniden kurgulanmıştır. Mevcut plan şeması optimize edilerek oda yerleşimleri, ortak kullanım alanları ve servis ilişkileri çağdaş konaklama standartlarına uygun biçimde düzenlenmiştir. Böylece yapı, mevcut kabuğunu koruyan ancak kullanım biçimi tamamen dönüşen yeni bir mekânsal kimlik kazanmıştır. Esenyurt Otel projesi, mevcut bir yapıyı yıkıp yeniden üretmek yerine, sahip olduğu fiziksel potansiyeli yeniden yorumlayarak dönüştüren; cephe ve iç mekân kararlarıyla yapıya güncel, işlevsel ve dengeli bir karakter kazandıran bir yeniden kullanım önerisi olarak ele alınmıştır.
Esenyurt Hotel is a renovation project that transforms an existing office building into a hotel through a comprehensive reorganization of both its façade and interior spaces. The design approach aims to preserve the building’s existing structural and spatial potential while adapting it to meet the requirements of contemporary hospitality use. Throughout the transformation process, the façade organization was reconsidered in order to provide the existing mass with a more restrained, controlled, and contemporary architectural expression. The façade interventions support the building’s transition from an office structure to a hospitality program, while proportions, rhythms, and material decisions establish a more cohesive architectural identity. The interior layout was reconfigured in response to the circulation, privacy, and comfort requirements of hotel use. The existing plan scheme was optimized to accommodate guest rooms, common areas, and service spaces in accordance with contemporary hospitality standards. As a result, the building gained a renewed spatial identity that preserves its existing shell while fundamentally transforming its mode of use. Rather than demolishing and rebuilding, the Esenyurt Hotel project reinterprets and transforms the physical potential of the existing structure, offering a contemporary adaptive reuse proposal that introduces a functional, balanced, and updated architectural character through both façade and interior design decisions.
